Childcare Staff - Bambini Early Learning Centre | Newtown

Sally Moore

Centre Manager

I have been working with children for 25 years and have been here at Bambini in the Co-Ordinator’s role since the centre opened in 2015.

I hold my Bachelor in Early Childhood Education and have a passion for mentoring others and supporting families through their child’s early learning experience.

I love working in such a beautiful environment with an amazing team. I am proud to lead a team of educators who are very passionate about early childhood education and the impact we have on children’s learning.

Bambini is special to me because it’s a place where children are valued as capable learners. I love watching the children’s amazement when they discover something new and then share this excitement with their families.

Kim James

Assistant Centre Manager

I have been working in the Early Years Industry for 24 years now and have been with Bambini Newtown since we first opened our doors. It has been wonderful to see our centre grow into the wonderful place we have now.

I love working with our passionate team to provide high-quality education and care for all the children starting from three months to six years of age. I love that we work together to present physical environments that are safe, secure and supported for all of the children in our care but that we can be flexible to meet the needs of each child.

I have a real passion, as do all of our educators, to guide and respect children as competent, capable and active participants in their learning and development. As a team, we believe each child is unique in their own way and we will continue to strive to provide learning environments that accommodate all children.

Tess MacMahon

Curriculum Coordinator

Hello, I’m Tess!

I have worked at Bambini Newtown for 7 years in various roles from Room Leader to Art Teacher and now as Curriculum Co-Ordinator.

In my current role I aim to empower our Educators and guide them in the principles and philosophy of Reggio Emilia and how to implement it into our curriculum and daily practice.

My biggest inspiration is children – their ideas, imagination, inquiries & creations.

I am very proud of the work we do at Bambini Newtown, especially our centre projects that drive our Reggio Emilia inspired Curriculum. Our projects offer a chance for educators and children alike, to work and learn alongside each other while also enriching our relationships with families and the wider community.
